Hasn't been updated in decades. Asked for handicapped room, got one on 2nd floor, no elevator. Shower was slippery like they'd cleaned but not rinsed, shower curtain was in tub and wet. Water pressure minimal, sink water never gets cold. Bed was abysmal, big hump across it at hip level like it wanted to be a hospital bed but missed, also too high off the ground (I'm 6' tall if you're wondering). Serious lack of electrical outlets, with none near the desk. Only had two small pillows on the bed, has to get my own from housekeeping room as staff was nowhere to be found. Reserved room for two adults and only had one towel, had to ask for more. Shampoo was good but no conditioner was available. Hope breakfast is good in the morning. Haven't been able to sleep mostly due to the bed. Update: Breakfast had no eggs, just waffles and cereal. Staff seemed surprised that I wasn't completely thrilled with my stay.
I got what I paid for pretty much. It was a cheap but comfortable stay. Very friendly staff.
the clerk had to leave to check the room to see if it was clean and she was gone about 15 minutes. finally i went upstairs (no elevator) to ask because i was exhausted. went to room after she said it was clean and went to sleep in clean bed, on hard as rocks pillows.. woke up later to take a bath and discovered a lot of hair in tub. i called to complained she did offer another room but i was unpacked and decided to take shower instead of bath.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Well lit lot. Good price. Accommodated me and my 5 dogs and didn't charge a fortune
Decent location and enjoyable breakfast. A good stop, however right beside a truck stop so a bit disturbing. Otherwise, a nice stay.
