Stayed for a night just for a place to sleep and I was very impressed with them room for how low the rate was. The room was recently renovated and very pleasant. The staff at the front office was also very polite. I definitely recommend this motel if you're looking for a place to stay for a few nights, I had a great experience. As far as I could tell, though, there wasn't any breakfast like their info on Google said, but I only stayed overnight so it wasn't a big deal to me.
The grounds were poorly kept, with bits of garbage scattered around the parking area.
I understand you have a billing dispute with your stay on 12/1. After reviewing your stay and speaking to my GSR, i'm still not sure how you were given or even able to book a rate at $27.39 plus tax for one night but that is the daily rate if you were staying for 7 nights at a time. I see that you paid $51.99 plus tax for your one nights stay, since there were no other issues during your stay, I have changed your rate to $35.99 plus tax and have refunded your card the difference.
If not for the noise it would have been an OK place for an inexpensive overnight.
A previous--and recent--reviewer stated that this motel was quiet. WRONG! Only yards from the highway--and with, apparently, paper-thin walls--every sound from the highway lived in my room, constantly.
I Booked the room online for $31 tax included. I was billed $58. I called the 800 customer service with Motel 6. They contacted the Hotel. This is the response I got.
On the bright side: the staff was friendly, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the water was hot.
Non smoking room smelled of smoke. Pillows stunk. Beverage residue on nightstand from previous guest. Paint and drywall flaking off in bathroom over the toilet. Bathtub heavily stained and deglazed. Bathroom towels had embedded hairs in them. Absolutely disgusting experience. I prepaid for the room before my arrival with online reservation yet front desk lady wanted me to pay again. If I wasn't so dead tired I would have fought for a refund and moved on. All I wanted was a safe nap and shower and every aspect of your property failed to deliver.
Sadly, my stay at this Motel 6 (E. Memphis, AR) was not a very good one. This "non-smoking" room had two ashtarys and a plastic bag over the smoke alarm. Although the room did not have an obvious smoke odor about it, I found a smoke odor on my stuff after I got away from the motel.
There was no stand for a suitcase, meaning I had to share the one bed with my suitcase.
We had the best waitress of all, can't quite remember her name, but i will always remember her..so kind..the visit was 12/15/17
Why didn't they give me credit me the difference in $27.39 rate and $51.99?
